Storage: Tomatoes are best stored at room temperature. Unripe green tomatoes are best stored in a cool area (not refrigerated) until they turn red in color. 

Preparation: Wash tomatoes in cold water before use. They are extremely versatile and can be used in salads, soups, sauces, baked dishes, grilled and roasted items.
